Frequently Asked Questions
How long does microblading last?
Microblading usually lasts for 1-3 years. On oily and acne prone skin, it lasts about a year. On people who train often and sweat a lot, it lasts also about a year.

How long does the procedure last?
Appointments usually last between 3 to 3.5 hours. That includes consultation, mapping and shaping, microblading and then going over aftercare instructions and kit.
Is microblading painful?
We usually don't pre-numb prior to the procedure because the numbing cream causes the skin to harden and change texture, making it harder to work on, but we do numb after the first pass and every pass after that which will fully numb the skin. The first pass is not completely painless, but feels more like tweezing/threading.

How many times a year can a microblading treatment be done?
Performed properly, it can be done up to 4 times a year.

Can I perform the treatment after Botox?
Microblading can be done 2-3 weeks after Botox, because it is a powerful toxin and it takes time to attach to the proper receptors.

Can I perform the treatment after a facial?
7 days after regular facial.

Can I perform the treatment after laser treatment?
When the signs of redness and inflammation completely disappear.

Can I exercise after the treatment?
You must avoid working out for 7 days following your microblading appointment. Light exercising is allowed (minimal sweating), but you must clean the tattooed area with lukewarm water as soon as you are done exercising. The salt in sweat will fade the pigment very quickly and give poor results.
